Q. Favorite spot for a coffee meeting? In S.F. - Gaslamp Cafe on 12th and Howard Street. In D.C. (technically Old Town) ESB.

Q. Job advice in three words? Never stop learning.

Q. Describe one way how a skill you learned in a previous job helped you in your new job.
Being willing to learn new things -- even if they were outside of my ‘job scope’ has been one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in my career. Whether it was learning product marketing when I was a sales account manager at MySpace, or policy when I was now Chairman Kevin Brady’s Press Secretary, being flexible and open to new experiences has afforded me the opportunity to explore different career paths and ultimately land in a place where I can leverage all the different skills to one day soon bring driverless cars to the road.

Q. Morning routine? Wake up, check morning newsletters and clips, go for a run or a spin class, drink a green smoothie, head to the office.

Q. How many hours of sleep do you get? I can’t function with less than 7.

Q. Most underrated virtue in an employee? Humility.

Q. Favorite app? Pocket - I’m constantly saving long form articles that I want to read but may not have time to when they’re first brought to my attention. It’s perfect for when you’re killing time and would otherwise just be perusing social media.
