Q. Favorite spot for a coffee meeting? More often than not, a government cafeteria.

Q. Describe one way how a skill you learned in a previous job helped you in your new job. Customer service. In the Senate, I learned to successfully balance interests from multiple stakeholders; the keys being personalized engagement and procedural transparency. These skills have served me well balancing the policy interests of 60 plus technology companies to find common cause.

Q. Job advice in three words? Success = Team Sport

How are you (or your company, org, nonprofit) currently bridging the gap between politics and tech? ITI is the voice of the high-tech community, advocating for policies around the world that advance technology, promote innovation, open access to new and emerging markets, protect and enhance consumer choice, and foster increased global competition.

Q: How many hours of sleep do you usually get? I strive for 8. 

Q: When was the last time you unplugged? Yesterday for 8.5 hours on a plane.

Q: What the best advice you've ever received? Treat people the way you want to be treated.
