Q. Favorite spot for a coffee meeting? Emissary on P Street in Dupont Circle

Q. Describe one way how a skill you learned in a previous job helped you in your new job. Working in political campaigns (and politics) gave me incredible insight into 'start up' culture and launching my staffing and recruiting business. Campaigns are the ultimate start ups..quick to launch, stay on message, deliver the product, win, lose, then move on.

Q. Job advice in three words? Preparation, Persistence, Smile

Q. How are you (or your company, org, nonprofit) currently bridging the gap between politics and tech? Our presence on the web and being digital has kept us competitive with much larger firms over many years. We're seeing more requests from client companies for candidates (employees) with solid digital skills and we're having to dig deeper in our candidate pool and the market in general. Also, we are actively reaching out to technology companies who need to recruit from an amazing talent pool in the DC metro area. We believe that there is a technology solution to keeping political and policy talent together and networked for the future.

Q. Most underrated virtue in an employee? Reliability

Q. What can Silicon Valley teach DC? Move fast, be innovative, disrupt, break things. In the words of Public Enemy: Fight the Power!

Q. What can DC teach Silicon Valley? How to be more diverse, inclusive and incorporate different points of view.

Q. Favorite restaurant? Joe's Seafood

Q. Last time you were completely unplugged? 1999

Q. Favorite under the radar company? Zello
